I truly believe everything happens for a reason. Good or bad, it’s meant to be.
This is can also be true for the people that come into our life. Sometimes you know right away that they were meant to be there. Either to serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson, or to help you figure out who you are or what you want to become.
Vita agrees with this after a chance meeting that not only changed her life, but the life of a perfect stranger.
Please enjoy Vita’s heartfelt story.

Last evening was a very random and special night for two people. My sister and I decided to go out together for a drink; an occasion like this for us is very few and far between.
We landed at a local quaint cafe lounge and indulged in a nice glass of sangria and some good sister bonding time. As we sat and sipped our sweet tasting drink, we also took in our surroundings and felt very mature amongst the youngsters in the bar. Of course we didn’t mind, it was rather entertaining.
As we both engaged in some “people watching,” one particular youngman (skateboarder style) kept looking over at us. I’d noticed him quite early on in the evening, as he caught my attention for some reason and we made eye contact a few times. His energy seemed innocent and sweet and I felt somewhat empathetic towards him for no certain reason. It was just a sudden feeling I had.
A short while later, an acquaintance I knew from town named Shelia walked in. She noticed me and stopped over at our table to chat with us. No sooner were we speaking with her, the skateboarder dude came over. Apparently Sheila knew him and introduced him as Drew. All four of us continued talking.
Then it was just the three of us. Sheila left, but Drew stayed to talk. It seemed strange, but for some reason I felt It was supposed to happen. Like I was meant to meet Drew.
Then I realized why.
Throughout our conversation Drew kept repeating, “I hate my life.” And it seemed like he wanted to open up to me. I suddenly started to feel, this “meeting” was by no surprise, but rather a divine intervention that was planned to take place this evening. I was there for him at the right time and the right place to engage him in a conversation. To give him guidance and direction on his young journey. He also admitted he was drawn to me as I was to him.
He was twenty four years of age and very lost in life. We began a deep spiritual conversation that seemed to be leading him down a path of self – awareness and guidance. I felt as though an energy took over me. Like I was just an angelic vessel showering this young soul with inspiration, positivity and a new outlook on life.
He mentioned a number of times that if it weren’t for his mother he would end his life. And suddenly the healer in me, started to seek the true essence of this young soul. I wanted to find out some passions and goals he had. I also began facilitating the questions that helped him seek his own answers to his problems and challenges.
Just as much as he felt a great sense of gratitude toward me for having listened to him, and being cared about (as he often mentioned throughout our conversation) I too, felt something very deep and heart-felt. I felt an overwhelming sense of joy, gratitude and compassion for this soul.
It genuinely brings tears to my eyes, as I sit here and recall the conversation in detail. I struggle to put into words the essence of our conversation and how it began and took place. I felt in an instance this was no typical random conversation taking place. I soon understood my role in it and how I was “the chosen one!” I was simply the messenger in which to provide the Divine messages Drew needed to hear that would simply change his life forever. I sincerely feel there was that much of an impact, connection and energy shared between us and I am so grateful I was able to be there for him exactly when he needed it.
Toward the end of the conversation I asked if I could give him a hug. He agreed and we embraced tightly. I felt so much love and gratitude toward him and I know in my heart he felt it too. He kept saying afterwards, “thank you so much Vita, you are an angel! That was great and all, but for me, it made my evening knowing that I could connect with this person. He needed someone and I was that person that made him feel like he was being listened too and cared for.
It put a smile on my face and warmth in my heart that truly solidifies my journey on this path. This is why I am here and I can’t tell you how last night changed MY life, let alone his. I love and feel much compassion towards this young man and wish him well on his journey.
I know he will become a SOMEBODY. I felt in all of the precious moments we shared. We were supposed to have met because our short conversation impacted my life and I know he will always remember our encounter for the rest of his life as well.
I thank God for making me a Divine vessel for HIS angelic work to help heal the world one person at a time. I feel a tremendous amount of gratitude for having found my soul’s purpose. And feel extremely blessed.
I hope when you have the opportunities in life to help another person simply by listening or expressing kindness and compassion in the most random occurrences, know it’s for a greater purpose.
Open your heart and be the best you can be in that moment for someone who may need you. Because you never know how or when you can change or impact another person’s life in just an instance or in a brief conversation or encounter.
