When people disrespect you or don’t treat you well, it is easy to take their behavior personally, to blame yourself and think you have something to do with their behavior.

I’m pretty sure we all do this. I know I can be guilty of it.

Yet, what I’ve come to realize is that another person’s rudeness is not about me. When someone is disrespectful it’s likely a reflection of their own issues. They might be having a bad day, going through a rough period, or it might just be their personality. No matter who you are or what you do, there will always be people who dislike or criticize you.

However, it’s important to know that rudeness is not okay and it’s not your fault. While you can’t control other people, you can stop taking things personally and instead be kind to yourself.

So, always remember…you can’t change other people, but you can just be yourself…and that is always enough!

The Dictionary defines an army as a large number of people or things, typically formed or organized for a particular purpose. My purpose with this blog is to organize enough positive energy to hopefully make a difference in people’s lives.
